HERD SALE
In April 2011 I will be celebrating my 70th birthday. During the past 35 years I have experienced a wonderful and full life with llamas. As time passes I am beginning to realize I will soon not be able to effectively care for the number of animals I currently have here at the ranch. I do not intend to leave the llama community, but will continue to train llamas, attend llama shows, and remain active in llama organizations.
I have decided to place a number of llamas for sale. These are animals with proven breeding histories and genetically sound backgrounds. They have produced the majority of my show animals. Seventy-five % of all the llamas here at the ranch have been shown in competition. Some of the animals will be offered as companions to other llamas sold. Multiple purchases will qualify for a discount.
I know this is a difficult time economically to sell llamas, however I will not turn down any reasonable offer as long as they go to a good home where they will be cared for well.
See the llamas for sale on the website or come by the ranch to see the selection and make me an offer.

Most people know me as "Lora". My life
with llamas began when I read an article about llamas in the
National Enquirer in 1976. That article pointed me in the
direction of Paul & Sally Taylor's Ranch in Sebastopol, California,
where I bought my first llama. I was a young mother of two
boys, thinking that I could raise llamas to help finance the
children's college.
Life does go on. Today my sons are achieving their own personal goals. Having been involved in CAL-ILA, LANA, ILA, ALSA for many years, and a ALSA Judge since 1997, I continue to support the health and well being of llamas and the llama community. My current goal is to provide education for prospective buyers, new llama owners, experienced owners, and the llama community. Over the years I have gathered a vast amount of information regarding llama health, showing, judging, training, and raising llamas.
